At the Gazpromneft Omsk plant the system of a HD video conferencing is started up in operation

The AMT Group company unrolled the modern system of a video conferencing of the HD format on Omsk Refinery. Installation includes more than 90 VKS terminals and supports up to 40 participants at the same time, the press service of integrator reported on May 21, 2013.

Objectives

The decision on system deployment of VKS at the enterprise is made under the influence of need of compliance to standards of the head company and increase in efficiency of interaction between directors and its divisions.

Project Objective: provide with a video conferencing top management, create the system of technology communication for heads of productions, equip several conference rooms for joint sittings.

"Our task was - to provide with the system of a video conferencing of top managers of the enterprise, to create the system of technology communication for heads of productions and also to equip several conference rooms for joint sittings of employees", - the manager with key clients of AMT Group Alexander Basov noted.

It was also necessary to implement a possibility of communication in the conference mode with head office in St. Petersburg and Moscow, with the adjacent enterprise – Moscow Refinery. For this purpose it is necessary to equip 90 jobs, including for top managers, and 8 conference rooms. In the operating system participation at the same time of forty participants had to be supported.

The fact will allow to estimate work scale: the area of ONPZ is about 1 thousand 290 hectares.

By the time of a project startup the operating system of selector communication of the customer categorically did not arrange management, neither on quality, nor on functionality. Also joint work with documents was impossible – materials were sent in advance and only after that were discussed on the selector.

Job

In September, 2012 announced results of tender, and in December, 2012 put a system in operation.

The performed works:

• preproject inspection of automation objects,
• design engineering,
• delivery and setup of server and terminal equipment
• integration into the existing CIS
• deployment of infrastructure
• the organization of points of VKS in workplaces.

Result

The system of a full-duplex audio/video conferencing with support of the HD format is set in eight conference rooms and rooms for meetings of the central plant management "Gazpromneft-ONPZ" and also in 89 workplaces of staff of the enterprise. She allows to hold meetings as in the presentation mode with local demonstration of required multimedia materials, and in the video conferencing mode, with a connectivity to a meeting of remote subscribers of the VIDEOCONFERENCING corporate network and subscribers of third parties.

Hardware

The solution is created on the basis of terminal and the Cisco Systems video server hardware. In its structure: Automated workplace of a system, VKS terminals, video server (MCU), server of call management (VCS), server of management (TMS), video gateway (GW) and multimedia equipment of halls of meetings.
