SecFlow - the new Ethernet switch / router of the increased reliability, sootvetstvuyushchty to the IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards, the switch/router, only in the market, for applications of SCADA with the intelligent protective screen, the built-in serial interfaces, 16 Fast Ethernet ports, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, with support and protocol translation of industrial communication.
Simple applications connection of SCADA on the basis of IP to remote terminals of old and new type
The SecFlow switch allows to connect both the intelligent equipment Ethernet, and traditional remote terminals with the serial interfaces RS-232/485, with full redundancy, including fiber optic rings, cellular modems 2/3G and the external radio systems. The functionality of the gateway allows to process as traffic with new potokola of IP/Ethernet, and with traditional protocols of serial processing of data therefore SecFlow can transform, for example, the traditional SCADA IEC-101 protocols to new IP compatible equivalents of IEC-104, or the consecutive Modbus protocol in IP, DNP3 and others. Thanks to conversion it is easy to transfer traffic of IP SCADA to terminals of new and old type. SecFlow allows to use new package infrastructure for traditional communication. It gives to the enterprises the chance to optimize expenses and to pass gradually to new economic network technologies.
The protective screen for each port with recognition of traffic of SCADA and the built-in VPN
The developed functionality of security of this solution includes the protective screen on each port with recognition of traffic of SCADA performing deep check of packets and the built-in agent of VPN for communications using IPsec and complete enciphering of crucial information.
The SecFlow device provides distributed security, without being limited to security of central node, and considering each communication hub that protects networks much better from risks of new generation as at modern methods of cyber attacks unattended platforms can become the place of risk and threat for all network, bypassing protection of command center.
2015: RAD released SecFlow-1
On May 31, 2015 the RAD company provided SecFlow-1 - the Ethernet switch/router in industrial execution with recognition of traffic of SCADA, with the built-in mechanisms of protection developed for providing the high level of cyber security in communication systems on crucial infrastructures.
SecFlow-1 switch, 2014
The device entered a portfolio of the network solutions RAD with guaranteed quality of communication (SAN). SecFlow-1 provides an economic and stable communication on wireless and wired networks of the general and corporate use.
The device provides means of cyber defense for weak spots of network infrastructure of the enterprises of power, oil, gas production and water supply. The SecFlow-1 device certified according to IEC standard 61850-3 integrates network functionality with resource protection with increased requirements to security that allows to transfer traffic of SCADA, Ethernet and IP in distribution networks and between substations.
The switch supports deep inspection of packets, enciphering, the distributed firewall with recognition of applications and provides observation of transactions of all office applications of communication. SecFlow-1 provides check and verification of all legal messages between remote terminals, control stations, machine and user interfaces.
The SecFlow-1 device maintains compliance of communication networks in the systems of power supply (bulk electric system, BES) to standards of security of NERC-CIP. The small sizes allow the SecFlow-1 installation in the close, isolated premises where only low tension of a power supply is available. SecFlow-1 is suitable for telemetry, and flexibly supports different interfaces of connection, including LTE and HSPA+.
