Automation of Vagon-Service Ltd company based on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete
Vagon-Service Ltd (Wagon-Service) specializes in providing highly effective complete solutions to the clients in the field of service maintenance of the rolling stock.
Our engineering and production divisions use the most modern technologies of the leading Russian and foreign equipment suppliers and supplies in the activity, are guided by international standards of quality management and environmental control, conduct purposeful search of innovations, carry out pilot and certification tests of technological solutions together with the leading Russian scientific research institutes of the railway industry for their subsequent implementation to productive activity.
Before implementation at the enterprise software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8", all regulated accounting of the enterprise was kept using the 1C: Accounting 8 system. Spreadsheets were applied to conducting production, operational and personnel records. Operational accounting of a remaining balance in warehouses was not organized. Report generation required a large number of time and efforts.
After detailed studying of the domestic market of software products the choice was stopped on the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" as it as much as possible corresponded to assigned tasks. For methodological support of the project on system implementation the 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) which has successful experience of automation of trade and industrial enterprises was selected.
Specialists of our company "1C: Accounting and Trade" (BITS) accompanied the project, giving methodological support, advising users on all questions arising during implementation. During the project 100 jobs were automated and the following subsystems are brought into operation:
- Accounting and tax accounting;
- Payroll and personnel records;
- Cash management and budgeting;
- Customer relationship management (CRM);
- Production management, including:
- products cost accounting;
- order management in production;
- production volume scheduling;
- production planning on changes.
- Purchase management, stocks, orders of buyers.
As a result of implementation automated the end-to-end managerial system which integrated management of the main business processes in one program. It allowed to organize and regulate interaction of divisions concerning providing information. Activities reports of the enterprise in all necessary cuts form online. The management began to obtain quickly information on activity of divisions and can make the timely and justified management decisions. The staff of the company got rid of need of accomplishment of many routine transactions manually, performance of their work increased, the number of the errors connected with a human factor decreased. In general the efficiency of activity of our enterprise increased.
Now information technical support is performed. Further automation and others business of processes of the company is planned.
