Moscow Power Engineering Institute upgrades the automation system of normative accounting

Company "1C: The first BIT" NIU "MEI" on the basis of the solution "1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8" completed the project of automation of FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education ", the press service of integrator reported on May 23, 2013.

Goal

Due to the enforcement in 2011 of new regulating documents on accounting in public institutions, at the university there was a need of transition to a new information system. In addition the organization of qualitatively new fixed asset accounting was required: earlier fixed asset accounting was kept in several information bases, there were no uniform nomenclature reference books.

As the staff of MEI is already familiar with programs 1C, the management of higher education institution made the decision on transition to the new software product "1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8" where the new chart of accounts and a technique of accounting according to relevant requirements of the legislation is implemented.

Implementation

In three months of the project specialists of the contractor performed transfer of a remaining balance and turnovers on accounts for 2011, organized look-ahead carry of data on fixed assets from four separate bases in a new system.

Setup of specific reports on fixed assets and completion of printed forms according to requirements of organization is made, user training is provided. Work of accounting and economical department is automated, all in a system 80 users work.

Input of a system in commercial operation allowed to keep account according to new requirements of the legislation.

Besides:

• Control over accounting became simpler, emergence of errors in accounting is almost completely excluded;
• The set-up time and delivery of the regulated reporting was several times reduced;
• Limits of budget commitments by public contracts are automatically traced that allowed to control a rational funds expenditure and not to exceed the set limits;
• Documents for payment for students form automatically that considerably reduced receptive period of payment for training. Besides a system allowed to control settlings with each student separately under each agreement, to timely monitor existence of debt, without spending time for long search it is necessary for information.
• The fixed asset accounting automated in one program reduced the probability of duplication of information and other accounting errors.

Svetlana Pastukhova, the deputy chief accountant of FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education " noted NIU "MEI": "As a result of the done work we received the automated system allowing to keep accounting and tax accounting according to provision of the order of Ministry of Finance No. 157n that significantly facilitated process of accounting, preparation and timely delivery of the budget reporting. We quickly receive the complete reporting under income and expenses, fixed assets, activity of divisions of the university. It allows us to control effectively debts on payments, use of budgetary and extrabudgetary funds. System implementation "1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8" allowed to solve all tasks set for the university.
