NPF Sberbank automates process of verification of documents

NPF Sberbank and ABBYY company announced on May 27, 2013 the implementing solution ABBYY FlexiCapture in the system of the automated stream scanning and verification of documents of Fund.

Processing of agreements happens in Fund where statements and the completed register come with data on them. Earlier reconciliation of the received agreements with the register was made manually, and it took away a lot of time, and in processing there could be errors.

NPF Sberbank together with ABBYY company, Sberbank-Tekhnologii Ltd and IBM company developed the innovation product - the end-to-end system of stream scanning and verification designed to increase the speed and to improve quality of check of paper copies of agreements on RPE and also to reduce costs at their processing. For ensuring input of documents and data the solution ABBYY FlexiCapture, and for the organization of electronic archive – the IBM FileNet platform is selected.

Result

Implemented the solution manual work is minimized, and the routine transactions executed by employees earlier are simplified. Now documents in NPF Sberbank are scanned and recognized, data retrieveds are automatically verified with the register. ABBYY FlexiCapture considers escalating volumes of document flow and not less than 2 million pages of documents in a quarter are capable to provide processing.

Within new processing system of documents the scanned documents are exported to electronic archive of Fund on the IBM FileNet platform. Agreements are still stored also in paper form, but now began to look for the necessary data more simply and quicker.
