Automation of accounting in Abinsky Electric Steelworks LLC based on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete


Abinsky Electric Steelworks LLC specializes in production of a construction armature and is the first industry member of ferrous metallurgy in the south of Russia. Complex products – reinforcing steel with a diameter from 8 to 32 mm - are certified on the system of Mosstroysertifikation. The plant began the activity in 2010, so far the number of staff of the enterprise is 1100 people.

Earlier at the enterprise operational, production, personnel records and payroll were not automated. There were difficulties by preparation of the regulated reporting, there was no efficiency in accounting. It was difficult to control execution of production orders, a remaining balance of materials and finished goods in a warehouse. For the purpose of increase in controllability by company management the decision on implementation of the software product which would allow to cope with the existing difficulties and to increase quality of conducting production, operational and regulated accounting was made and also would automate settlement processes of the salary to the employees and personnel records.

For creation of such system the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" which standard functionality as much as possible corresponded to requirements of the enterprise was selected. As the partner in implementation the 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) as it has staff of qualified specialists was selected, is Competence Center on production and has successful experience of automation of manufacturing enterprises.

During the project installation and setup of a system was carried out, integration into the client bank program is configured, data transfer from the previous program and electronic bases is organized, detailed user instructions are developed.

In total 20 jobs were automated and the following subsystems are brought into operation:

  • Accounting and tax accounting;
  • Budgeting;
  • Payroll calculation;
  • Calculation of price-work salary for dresses;
  • Personnel management;
  • Cash management;
  • Customer relationship management (CRM);
  • Order management of buyers;
  • Order management in production;
  • Certification of the nomenclature;
  • Inventory management;
  • Products cost accounting;
  • Sales management;
  • Sales planning;
  • Product data management – structure of a product;
  • Product data management – the production technology;
  • Production management;
  • Management of repairs;
  • Volume and calendar production planning;
  • Production planning on changes.

As a result the enterprise received a system which allowed to automate all key business processes in one program. Employees got rid of need of accomplishment of many transactions manually. There was an opportunity to quickly control stock balance, to monitor accomplishment of production orders on each production stage. The salary to personnel is calculated much quicker, process of formation of orders to buyers and suppliers accelerated. The reliability and speed of preparation of the regulated reporting and reports for the management increased.

Further development and maintenance of a system, its setup under specific requirements of the company, start in operation of subsystems purchase planning, purchase managements, vendor relationship managements (SRM) is in the future planned.
