OmniLink - the product is intended for creation and testing of business applications of the mobile terminals of data collection (TDC).
2016: Integration with 1C: Trade Management
On June 9, 2016 the Pilot group announced integration of the software package "OmniLink" with software of 1C: Trade Management.
Upgrade allows to use a product in the small companies retailers where there is a need for economy of the IT budget.
Mobile technologies much more accelerate and simplify processes of acceptance, inventory and marking. However to small retailers it is problematic them to use: to connect the data collection terminal (DCT) with the software (S) of shop services of IT specialists are required. And it is additional expenditure which such customers are not always able to afford. Now it is enough to set "OmniLink", it is ready to unload in it data from 1C: Trade Management and the solution to work already "from a box". |
2015: There was OmniLink 4.3 release
On August 7, 2015 the Pilot group announced a release of the version of the software[1].
Considerable upgrade affected the generator of projects - now it free, completely saved functionality.

With OmniLink 4.3 release exit the Pilot company changed approach to licensing of this software – now the user pays only for the license of the device granting the right to use "OmniLink" directly on the shipping documentation. The free generator of projects in total with the built-in emulator allows at an initial stage without additional investments to create applications for the shipping documentation, displaying the PC projects that facilitates their testing and completion. Now anyone can load the generator, create in it the project, debug procedures and only after that present result of work – that is expanded considerably by a circle of possible users of the solution.
Starting with version 4.3 online mode on an equal basis with offline is officially supported – in the presence of Wi-Fi covering synchronization will be executed without workflow interruption. In this version the augmented list of TSD producers: now it is Motorola/Symbol and NordicID, Honeywell, Idata, Intermec, NewLand, PointMobile.
Among changes in the interface - there was a possibility of grouping of projects that at a large number of business challenges does more convenient work with the shipping documentation.
A help system is processed into "OmniLink" and detailed documentation with examples of use in applications is created. For advanced developers to whom not enough standard options of work with data, the possibility of writing of any requests to DBMS appeared.
