Ukrpochta makes the move - SAP ERP

Ukrpochta and SAP company announced success of creation of a common information space on the platform of the SAP product ERP, on May 30, 2013.

"It is not enough to today's Ukrpochte to remain afloat, we want to fight for a market leadership. We set an ambitious goal - for 2 years to carry out large-scale transformation of business, having implemented all functionality of SAP ERP in parent organization, and in 5 years completely to automate all departments which number makes more than 14 thousand. Putting into operation of the integrated platform based on technologies of SAP will create a common information space for all divisions and services, will give to the management the chance to manage more effectively all administrative and operational activity of the company, and will be able to provide with the automated jobs 100-thousand staff of the company", - Oksana Plotnikova, the CEO of the Ukrainian state enterprise of a mail service of Ukrpocht noted.

Implementation

The project began at the end of 2012. Within 2 months in the company the functionality of treasury, budgeting and contractual accounting are implemented, necessary normative reference books are created. The uniform reference book by partners of Ukrpochta consisting of 76 thousand positions, the reference book of inventory items - 104 positions, and the unified register of agreements – 46 thousand positions is created.

Objectives

In 2013 the development strategy of the company provides implementation of the main functionality of SAP ERP. By the end of the year it is necessary to automate: revenue management and costs; purchases, including electronic biddings and tenders; management of material flows; personnel records and personnel management; transport logistics; sale and sales. In 2013 training of employees in work is provided in a system after implementation of functionality of distance learning.

Expectations

Will be able to provide with project implementation of Ukrpocht the new level of service with an opportunity to render services to the population some of which the client will be able to receive, without leaving the house – via the Internet, "single window" that is one of elements of "the electronic government" Ukraine.
