LSI Syncro CS

Syncro CS represents economic and simple in implementation solution DWH for small and medium businesses (SMB) and also remote offices and representations. Working at the Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Syncro CS platform offers a shared memory device and the failsafe controller of DWH in environments of storage systems with direct connection (DAS), reported CNews in the company.

LSI Syncro CS is created for reduction of waiting time of a response of critical applications (at the expense of transparent failsafe waiting time for the application or the user). At the same time Syncro CS provides data protection and differs in the high performance, available cost and the low level of complexity typical for the solutions DAS.

According to developers, the solutions Syncro CS created on the basis of LSI MegaRAID technology are used by two controller cards which allow system administrators to construct the high-available shared solution DAS.

Syncro CS supports two models of implementation: Syncro CS 9286-8 — provides a clustering of a shared memory device due to use of two-volume servers and ready JBOD; Syncro CS 9271-8 — allows system producers and builders to use Syncro CS controllers for construction of the economic two-nodal Cluster-in-a-Box systems and to provide high availability in one self-contained unit.
