The Distribution Formula company announced on June 5, 2013 project implementation on automation of activity of the enterprise on the platform of a system of mobile trade "Weathervane Sale" using Android tablets for mobile employees. The firm - the solution designer Internet-Frigate took part in the project.
Background
The companies operates in the territory of Republic of Belarus, the range of the sold products contains about 1 thousand positions, and the company management made the decision on automation of process of distribution on the basis of the system of mobile trade.
The choice of the Weathervane Sale system is proved by a variety of reasons: a possibility of creation of a geographically distributed distribution network using one Web server; lack of fixing of licenses to mobile devices; possibility of automation of jobs of key participants of process; a possibility of completion and development of a system under needs of the company.
Job
Within an implementation project 220 mobile jobs of sales agents, 45 mobile jobs of supervisors and 30 jobs of office employees, preliminary collecting of orders and merchandising in 9 thousand outlets are automated.
Result
As a result, in "A distribution formula" the system providing is constructed:
- transition of all mobile employees to use of tablet computers instead of paper carriers of information;
- control and motivation of mobile employees via instruments of GPS monitoring and cards of the purposes and tasks (KPI);
- performance improvement of work of mobile employees; access of management to analytical information of any level.
Integration with ERP
During implementation the system of mobile trade is integrated with the accounting system "1C: Enterprise 8.2. Integrated Automated Control System Enterprise (IACSE)".
