N.A. Nekrasov Karabikh's memorial estate

The museum is in 15 km from Yaroslavl on old Moskovskoye Highway. The reserve is located in the territory of the ancient Russian estate which complex residential and farm buildings, regular and landscape parks enter. Princes Golitsyn were the first owners of the estate.

At the beginning of the 1860th years the estate was purchased by Nikolay Alekseyevich Nekrasov. He spent ten summer seasons (1861-1875) here, wrote poems "Russian Women", "Contemporaries", poems "Orrin, the soldiers' mother", Kallistrat and others, worked on the work "Who Is Happy in Russia?".
