Cisco Cyber Threat Defense (CTD)

Within an initiative of new joint developments and methods of exchange of information, the Cisco company announced on June 17, 2013 a release of the solution Cisco Cyber Threat Defense.

Cisco Cyber Threat Defense uses the high transparency and data facilitating adoption of practical solutions for protection of network against modern steady threats (APT - advanced persistent threat) and other sophisticated purposeful attacks which even more often manage to overcome traditional methods of protection.

Background

Cisco NetFlow (collects data generated by network infrastructure of the customer);

• Lancope StealthWatch System (aggregates and analyzes telemetered informations of NetFlow, will recognize threats and suspicious behavior);
• the context information arriving (as an option) from ISE for identification of users and terminal units and collective determination of the nature and sharpness of specific threat.
• Simplifies manual processes of the analysis of information threats expensive and subject to errors.
• Uses the broad set base of switches, routers and Cisco safety controls.
• Available to installation at customers.
