The Inzhenergoproyekt company occupies one of leading places in the field of design when implementing comprehensive government programs of development of a power supply system of Moscow and the power industry of Russia in general. For quality improvement of planning and reduction of terms of the observed projects the company successfully uses the Russian project management system of Advant.

Cooperation Inzhenergoproyekt and Advanta Group companies began more than two years ago. Dynamically growing company needed new instruments of project management: the number of orders and growth of information volume it was excessive for attempts of its data and processing in the word or Excel formats. Tasks which were set for contractors began to be lost among an information flow, complicating control over their execution.

In order that the company could increase considerably volumes of rendering services, the management made the decision on search and system implementation of project management. The following tasks were set for a new system:

  • structure a project portfolio of the organization,
  • receive a uniform picture on loading of employees,
  • improve interrelation of work of departments,
  • provide to project teams a convenient planning tool and supports of project implementation.

When choosing a system, except functional requirements, attention was paid also to a ratio the price quality and possibilities of flexible configuration and development of functionality of a system by own specialists of the company. As a result, under specified to criteria the Inzhenergoproyekt company selected a project management system and Advant's business.

Advanta not only met requirements of the company the parameters satisfying requests but also exceeded competitive solutions on opportunities of support of project management in the company, simplicity of setup, existence of flexible tools of the reporting. A system is also profitable distinguished by short terms of implementation (several weeks) and small training costs of end users (several hours).


Now the staff of the organization makes more than 250 people. Operational, control is exercised of heads of divisions through an information system. The efficiency of control of execution and problem definition is reached thanks to the web system interface that allows to use time of a managing personnel effectively. The saved temporary resources go for strategic planning and opening of new activities.
