The St. Petersburg bank leases the premises for DPC

"The St. Petersburg bank completed transfer of a reserve data processing center in data center of the telecom operator "is UPHOLSTERED", the press service of operator reported on June 18, 2013.

Background

Relocation of the central office of St. Petersburg Bank from the downtown to the new building on Malookhtinsky Avenue caused relocation of technical services including the reserve data processing center (DPC). In 2012 the bank held the tender for provision of services for placement of the equipment, it was won by IS UPHOLSTERED company.

One of tender conditions: preparatory work which was occupied the operator by two months and demanded investments in the amount of 15 million: the security system is strengthened, conditioning systems and fire extinguishing are optimized, the premises under the equipment of bank are selected, the possibility of direct injection of communication channels of other operators is provided. In addition, the data center "is UPHOLSTERED" confirmed certification on compliance to standards of international payment systems.

Job

Relocation of reserve DPC is complete on June 5, 2013. For June 18, 2013 the St. Petersburg Bank rents in the territory of data center "is UPHOLSTERED" with 100 ^sq.m where 25 racks with the equipment are placed, there is a possibility of additional commissioning up to 33 racks. An object conforms to all security requirements imposed to functioning of the systems of financial institution.

Pavel Filimonenok, the vice chairman of the board of JSC St. Petersburg Bank noted: "Placement of reserve DPC of bank on the platform of IS UPHOLSTERED company allowed to increase stability of information systems of bank, having implemented security policies of the leading world financial institutions and also to optimize costs for creation and maintenance of IT infrastructure of bank".
