IDGC of Siberia develops the VKS system on the basis of Cisco technologies

In the IDGC of Siberia electric grid company the project on a sozaniya of a system of a video conferencing which will integrate about 50 organizations branches in the territory of Siberia and will help to keep in touch with office of the higher holding company is complete. The project is implemented by "Galex scientific and technological center" on the basis of technologies of Cisco company, the press service of the company contractor reported on June 18, 2013.

Job

Specialists of Galex company unrolled a video conferencing complex based on head enterprise of the customer, created server group on the basis of the modular Cisco MSE 8000 chassis and the Cisco VCS Control server. During installation and setup of the equipment works on integration of a complex with the existing corporate communications system are carried out.

In two conference rooms of the enterprise subscribers line circuits of Cisco C60 and Cisco C40, the integrated congress systems and the systems of a sound are set.

Are implemented:

• Possibility of implementation of calls "point-to-point" between subscribers of a complex;
• Possibility of collecting of the mixed multipoint video conferences with participation of subscribers of the hardware Cisco TelePresence complex and the existing subscribers of the software package Microsoft Lync;
• Uniform address space for all video subscribers;
• Possibility of use of available means for evident demonstration of materials of help character.
