Brokbusinessbank operates the newly created virtualized data processing center

The company Ink created the modern virtualized data center for Brokbusinessbank, the company integrator reported on June 19, 2013.

Result

In a project deliverable, performed by the company Ink for JSC Brokbusinessbank, from two territorially remote mutually integrated data centers the complete information system is created.

Migration more than 50 legacy services of bank is carried out to the new virtualized IT infrastructure, new services are put into operation, their availability and reliability is provided with system means of software of virtualization VMWare vSphere Site Recovery Manager and VMWare vSphere High Availability.

Orestes Macsymjuc, the director of the department of server solutions of the company Ink, noted: "Today to need of creation of modern data centers those organizations which activity is impossible without continuous processing and storage of large volumes of information come, first of all. First of all, it is the companies of financial, power, telecom industry and also the large industrial and state enterprises. The data center constructed within this project guarantees the continuity of business processes, a possibility of flexible response to business changes, value increase of the company in the opinion of partners. At the same time one of the main requirements of the customer – a server system, a storage device subsystem was executed, the system of virtualization fully provide permanent operability of the systems supporting business life activity. The data center constructed by forces Ink for Brokbusinessbank with guarantee will provide the continuity of business processes of bank and a possibility of free further business development".

As implementation included several interconnected systems and the equipment of different suppliers is involved, it was vital to understand further opportunities of development of the IT system. So, in a project deliverable the server framework and a storage device subsystem based on the equipment of IBM was constructed, it is implemented by software of virtualization of computing resources on the basis of the solution VMware vSphere and also engineering infrastructure of data center. Creation and start in operation of new data center without stopping of work of the enterprise became possible thanks to the coped and qualified actions of IT specialists of the company by Ink and Brokbusinessbank, - Alexander Guk, the vice chairman of the board of AT "Brokbusinessbank", the curator of IT department told. - Thanks to new data center we provided providing a number of modern banking services and internal business and necessary services of bank, such as trading day of bank, the system of e-mail, the system of internal document flow at even more qualitative level, minimizing at the same time the probability of emergence of interruptions in provision of services. Also it should be noted that the created complex allows to increase resource capacity depending on the increasing requirements of our business and per the closest 5-7 years of operation".
