The bank was founded in October 1990 in the Krasnodar Territory.

Initially, it operated under the guise of the Caucasian Commercial Agricultural Bank (Kavkazsky KSB LLC) and until 2000 focused mainly on working with small and medium-sized businesses.

In 2004, the bank was included in the Compulsory Deposit Insurance System (Certificate No. 116 of 28.10.2004). This made it possible to expand the range of services and begin active work with individuals. In 2008, the bank changed its name: Kavkazsky KSB LLC becomes the Limited Liability Company Commercial Bank RostFinance (CB RostFinance LLC). By this time, a branch network was formed, which included representative offices of the bank in the two largest regions of the South - the Rostov region (Rostov-on-Don, Bataisk, Taganrog) and the Krasnodar Territory (station Caucasian - the historical homeland of the RostFinance design bureau).

In 2013, RostFinance CB was acquired by the owners of the construction company Dalpiterstroy (St. Petersburg)
