Axis and ITV Retail Solution

In shops of Regstaer company all groups of goods which are traditionally provided in duty-free trade are on sale: alcohol, perfumery and cosmetics, a jewelry, tobacco and confectionery, clothes, accessories, hours, goods to the road. Each Regstaer shop is unique and is under construction on the individual project, but the security system in them should be complex and modern. The project was implemented by the partner of Axis — the YUNIMAKS company entering into the first group of system integrators to which implementing solutions for the sphere of retail of Axis & ITV Retail Solution is entrusted.

This joint unique solution based on Axis video cameras and the software Intelligence of company ITV|AxxonSoft., according to the uniform concept of protection of Duty Free shops of Regstaer company, was selected for the project of a system of IP video surveillance. The solution is intended especially for objects of retail and AxxonSoft is founded on the IP product Axis and the vertical software solution "POS Intelligence" from ITV |. The POS Intelligence system is capable to obtain timely text and event information from different sources, to synchronize it with the video image and to provide in a type, convenient for the analysis, that is extremely important for the sphere of retail with its multitasking and vulnerability in the plan of thefts and fraud.

Thus it was succeeded to solve an important problem — to organize constant control of point of sale. In total it was required to equip with video surveillance systems five new shops, and three existing — to convert. Except security functions the Axis & ITV Retail Solution system helps to solve also marketing problems of assessment and the analysis of a flow of visitors of shops. Key requirements of the customer were: harmonious arrangement of cameras in an interior of shops, convenience of a system in operation and a high image quality.

As a result the customer received a single system of IP video surveillance for the objects in the territory of the airport in which nearly 200 IP video cameras are involved today. From them more than 150 are set in Duty Free shops, and about 50 more — in a warehouse and at office of Regstaer company, located also at Vnukovo Airport. The cameras Axis P1344 in combination with the software POS Intelligence became the effective tool on control of cash transactions. For high-quality observation, permanent monitoring and rapid response the separate post of the operator is organized.
