"Russian Corporation of Means of Communication" (RCMC) implemented a KASUB system implementation project by request of JSC FGC UES, the press service of Russian Telecom Equipment Company reported on July 2, 2013.
Scope. Objectives
For July 2, 2013 KASUB works at a significant amount of objects of the company. Further system implementation is planned till 2018 on all objects of a class of 500 kV and above.

The KASUB system is implemented into JSC FGC UES since 2010 and is intended for increasing the level of security of power facilities, including regarding ensuring anti-terrorist and public security, in the conditions of emergencies of technogenic and natural character, reduction of risk of emergency situations, including the probability of their emergence and also for system integration of security systems and the automation equipment of governing bodies.
By July 2, 2013 objects in the territory of 4 federal districts among which the Olympic power facilities of the Sochi region are integrated into the KASUB system.
