The project is implemented based on software: Autodesk MapGuide, Microsoft SQL Server, AutoCAD Map 3D, Autodesk Navisworks.

During creation of a geographic information system of the city of Dubna it was used by software: Autodesk MapGuide, AutoCAD MAP 3D, AutoCAD Raster Design and Oracle DBMS. In 2010 GIS was upgraded, finished and postponed for the 3D Enterprise Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server and AutoCAD MAP platforms.

The purpose of the GIS "Dubna" – increase in efficiency of acceptance of management decisions by City administration at the expense of the qualitative organization of interaction of the different city services, departments, the organizations operating with data on city infrastructure.

Appointment:

• Integration of space data from different sources (services, departments, the organizations) based on the uniform electronic card.
  
• Automation of activity of divisions of Administration in spheres:
  
• - architecture and town planning (maintaining the land plots, zoning of the territory, issue of warrants for land works, interaction with cadastral chamber and so on);
  
• - municipal economy (condition monitoring of utilities, cleaning of the territory of the city, public transport);
  
• - trade and services (monitoring of points of retail);
  
• - management of municipal property;
  
• - investment attraction;
  
• - rendering public and municipal services.
  
  

Results of system implementation:

• Acceleration of office-work in City administration of Dubna thanks to the automated preparation of documents from GIS.
  
• Timely identification and elimination of the discrepancies and errors arising at combination of data of different services and departments.
  
• Quality improvement of the made management decisions thanks to availability of a relevant cartographic basis with all attributive information for all interested persons.
