L'etual passed to the advanced solution for retail automation

On December 23, 2016 the consulting company Columbus announced project completion on automation of trade in retail network of perfumery and L'etual cosmetics, on the Microsoft platform.

Project Progress

At the first stage of the project which was completed in the fall of 2014 transition to AH Microsoft Dynamics platform 2012 at the central office "L'etual" was executed. System implementation allowed to automate the most part of processes of the central office including merchandising, management of a sales personnel, lease, finance and so forth. Implementation of the module Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS in several pilot shops of retail network was in parallel executed.

Within the second stage of the project mechanisms of replication of the solution were developed, IT infrastructure of retail network is significantly updated, support mechanisms are built. Unprecedented rates of implementation were provided — process of replacement of the cash software took only two months, was updated on 100 cash places during the working day without interruption in work of shops. As a result of united work of a project team of L'etual and Columbus all shops were completely transferred to solution Microsoft Dynamics AH 2012 for Retail POS by the beginning of a high season of sales of 2015-2016.

The federal retail network of cosmetics and the perfumery "L'etual" announced on July 5, 2013 plans of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and creation of unified information environment of control of point-of-sale terminals. The partner in a large-scale implementation project of the solution of Microsoft in the field of retail of a nonfood segment - consulting company Columbus. For July, 2014 the project was not complete.

Objectives

The end-to-end system of control of point-of-sale terminals should be unrolled in all shops "L'etual". For July 5, 2013 the retail network contains more than 800 outlets in the territory of Russia.
