Evita completes implementation of a software package of logistics

The ITOB company completed an implementation project of specialized industry solution of ITOB: The center of logistics in the company Evita, the press service of integrator reported on July 10, 2013.

Justification

Due to growth of quantity of points of delivery, the range of goods and services, the number of employees and emergence of new tasks in the company, there was a need for an information system which opportunities allow to conduct computer-aided planning of routes.

To system implementation of ITOB: The center of logistics the company used paper document flow and the main, occasionally negative, a role in its activity was played by a human factor. Impossibility of coordination of the arriving data, creations of the convenient, "speaking" base, creations of the optimal work plan – all this led to errors, loss of clients and arrived respectively.

Important factors for the customer of an information system on this platform also became: the low cost of ownership, openness of the code and presence of specialists in labor market. Possibilities of development of a system for the company Evita the defining criteria when choosing the software product.

Result

Application of ITOB: The center of logistics as the automation system of transport logistics of the company Evita allowed to increase controllability transport and logistics division, to increase development by each vehicle.

• As a result of automation time for planning of orders of delivery was twice reduced.

• Loading of transport is optimized.

• Automation of transport logistics allowed to adjust business processes in such a way that at increase in amount of works it was not required to broaden the state.

Evita emergence of detailed analytics of work of department of delivery, thanks to the fact that in a system reports in the necessary section automatically form became an essential project deliverable for the management. It does transparent the current work of department and helps to perform long-term planning of development of the company.
