CrocoTime is a work time program developed by Infomaximum LLC. The system allows you to build and automate work processes, eliminate the wasteful use of work time by staff, increase efficiency, balance employee workload and identify working time reserves.
How does the CrocoTime work?
The Time and Attendance System CrocoTime uses a client-server architecture and consists of CrocoTime Server and CrocoTime Agent applications.
- CrocoTime Agent - an application that is installed on the employee's computer and is used to collect statistics about the activity of this computer.
- CrocoTime Server is an application that receives employee statistics from the CrocoTime Agent application and displays information in graphic and text form through a web interface in an Internet browser. Statistics in the time and attendance system are CrocoTime collected using monitoring agents, which transmit data to the server over the local network of the enterprise or over the Internet in real time. It is also possible to track non-computer sessions with client binding using the manual timing function. The system takes into account the activity of peripheral input devices (keyboard, mouse) and considers the working time with the active program window or the active browser tab. If you do not use a mouse or PC keyboard for 5 minutes, the system will not consider this an employee's activity time.
CrocoTime can be integrated with other systems, such as corporate calendars, IP telephony systems, MCDS, etc. To do this, an API was implemented, using which you can request the necessary data from the CrocoTime.
Functionality of a system
Time worked.
The system repeats the structure of the company, reports are generated by departments and each employee. The program calculates the total work time, and also divides it into productive time and distraction time. The reports show all the programs and sites with which subordinates worked, this will quickly analyze how correctly your employees spend their time. CrocoTime shows the activity chart: the time of minimum and maximum load of employees. Statistics on days within a week or month are available, as well as statistics on hours within a day.
Photograph of the working day.
The structure of the day will tell you in detail what and when the employee was engaged, as well as what programs he used. Very convenient for monitoring the work of remote specialists. You can see the beginning, end of work, employee activity time and breaks, you can see the details for each individual period. The process indicator will show at what point in time the employee was working on. Optionally, you can display appointments and meetings from corporate calendars, as well as calls when integrating with IP telephony systems. You can easily access all the main work indicators for the day, you can see the top used programs and sites that completed the tasks, as well as how much time was worked out and how many goals were achieved.
Analysis of processes
- The Program and Site Report is a convenient tool for analyzing the company's business processes. Statistics are disclosed up to the window headers. You can see what specific documents the employees worked with and how long it took.
- Detailing employee statistics will show who used this program and how much. This allows you to compare the actual time of work with the tool with the standard for this employee or position
- Detailing task statistics will show which tasks this program or site is used to perform. This allows you to easily analyze how appropriate tools your employees use and optimize their work.
Timetracking
- The time-tracking function will CrocoTime help to calculate the time for the project, specific tasks within the project and evaluate the contribution of each of the participants.
- Filtering by employee will help you calculate the share of subordinates in the project.

2015
CrocoTime 4.1
On February 3, 2015, Infomaximum announced the release of a new release of the CrocoTime time recording system.
According to the developers, it emphasizes efficiency:
- reduced page loading time (with large amounts of data, this will be especially noticeable),
- Automated synchronization with Active Directory
- several required changes have been made in the system.
In this version, the following are available:
- Automatic synchronization with Active Directory and computers outside the domain. This allows you to automatically migrate the organization's domain structure to a time-of-service system, and automatically display changes within Active Directory and the workgroup in the CrocoTime.
- Select Employees to Monitor window instead of the ban list. In the new version of the system, you can mark the employees for whom you want to keep a work time record in the Select Employees to Monitor window.
- Automatic updates for companies with a proxy server. For organizations in which Internet communication passes through a proxy server, it is possible to specify it in the System Version window. Then just mark "Update through proxy."
* Flexible permissions settings, adding administrators. In the new version, you can assign administrator privileges to multiple users at once to distribute the tasks of configuring and supporting the system among different specialists. The CrocoTime implemented flexible access rights settings: a line manager can be given access to one department, and a top manager can be given access to statistics of the entire company.
- Changes to the interface. 10 times faster loading of pages.
- You have entered the indicator "Norm of the day" - the optimal amount of productive time. It is defined for both departments and specific employees.
- Day Structure column - Charts the hourly activity and productivity of employees during the day.
- Holidays are now set in the general schedule of the organization.
- In the "By days" tab, you can specify the schedule for each employee: vacation, sick leave, time off, etc.
- You can view and detail programs and sites across multiple employees.
CrocoTime 4.1.5
On April 21, 2015, Infomaximum announced the improvement of the time recording system and its release in version 4.1.5.
The program reduced the load on the RAM of the PC, contains the indicator "non-core time," expanded the functionality and received a different interface design.
- The changes have affected the server part of the software:
- Optimized Time Clock Server: Reduced RAM load on the computer on which the server is installed. On average, the organization's RAM load will decrease to 1.5-2 times (depending on what and how much employees use - sites or desktop applications).
- Redesigned synchronization with Active Directory - added the ability to link employee accounts. At the same time, the time clock administrator can independently link them, regardless of whether the domain account or the local one. In CrocoTime 4.1.5, broader control capabilities are implemented - synchronization can be turned off completely or partially.
- Time clock auto-grouping filters have been redesigned: you can set priority for multiple intersecting filters.
- Pages with the same name in site detail are grouped into one line with summary activity.
- Changes have been made to the clocking interface:
- Added new tabs: Monitoring and Day by Day. The Monitoring tab combines all activities with accounts, the ability to activate and disable employee monitoring, agent installation, diagnostics, and some other features. The Day tab shows the activity of all employees for the selected day. It allows you to comprehensively evaluate the work of the organization on each specific date.
- A non-core time indicator has been introduced - the working time that an employee spends on performing "other people's" duties: for example, a programmer, a testing system (work of a tester) or an accountant filling out personal employee cards (work of a personnel manager). In fact, this activity is useful, but is not a direct responsibility of the employee.
- The work schedule setup window has been changed and you can now set violation limits here.
- Added the ability to hide accounts of employees, departments and programs for which there are no statistics.
- Time clock interface has been redesigned. CrocoTime
Developers have simplified work with the time clock system, automated the process of installing, synchronizing and diagnosing software.
2014
CrocoTime 3.3
On January 29, 2014, CrocoTime developers announced a new release - version 3.3 CrocoTime.
The update includes: interface, inactive user time, additional types of sorting reports, improvement of services to "one click."
Improvements of the interface
The interface has become more elegant, more technological, easier to execute and less loaded. You've added icons to various features that help you remember your settings faster.
The unit of measure of the employee's quality of work - the time of PC inactivity - has been added to the time system. In previous versions of the system, the "idle time" for a particular user and department as a whole was not summarized. In the new release, all statistics will fit in one digit.
Development of statistical tools
The employer received more tools for objective analysis of employees' work - the time of visiting "useful" and "harmful" sites, the time of user inactivity. Comparing the downtime of employees within one department, with a greater degree of probability, helps to make no mistake when "choosing" an unoccupied employee - time recording becomes more automated.
Among the enhancements is the ability to view statistics only for those groups of sites that the user visited.
There are several sorting types installed for departments, employees, and programs. When opening reports, for example, by department, the manager will immediately see the main "consumers" of working time. In addition, you can build statistics on both the total productive or non-productive time and the percentage of this time. The function compares the quality of work of remote branches, the load of employees in absolute value. There is an opportunity to identify the most popular programs and sites among employees, to make a decision, for example, to mass restrict access to women's online stores or astrological portals.
Combining statistics on employees interested in the same portals is a useful function, from the point of view of developers.
"Weare seeing a big surge of customer appeals to the company at the beginning of the year," said Alexander Bochkin, founder of Infomaximum. - And this fact does not surprise us at all, because in the mode of budget deficit, which is now experienced by many companies of both the public sector and business, the issue of economy, first of all, is identified with the real load of personnel. And time accounting helps answer many rhetorical questions. In particular, on which cases subordinates spend most of their time.
CrocoTime 3.4.8
On April 8, 2014, the developers of Infomaximum announced the improvement of the system and the release of the next release of the automated time and attendance program. CrocoTime
Inheritance of rules and permissions settings has been added to this version of the system.
Previously, settings for the mode of work of subordinates within the same department were applied once. For example, a single regulation was established for all employees of the group. If the company has made personnel changes, the administrators of the automated time and attendance system had to manually add the rules settings to the new employee. In the new version, the developers provided for the "inheritance" parameter. That is, after the employee appears in the general hierarchy of the department, the same mode settings apply to him as the entire department.
The ability to "inherit" from the parent department to the child department and employees is now provided for permissions. Maximum automation of configuration processes allows you to perform them once and further adjust permissions only for newly appearing resources. Automation reduces the time spent working with the CrocoTime program and saves system administrator time.
The system has made changes to the interface. The rules and permissions are set together. The solution of the developers "Infomaximum" is based on the fact that each move between the tabs of the program is extra time.
- Time accounting should be useful not only in terms of the functionality that the system provides. The time that users spend setting up is also important for us, "said Alexander Bochkin, General Director of Infomaximum.
CrocoTime 3.5.3
On June 10, 2014, Infomaximum announced the release of a new version and useful, according to the developers, additions.
The changes affected the interface, the alert system and the mechanism for gaining access to departments. Now it will be more convenient for the manager to delegate tasks and choose various options for reporting violations. All of this optimizes time and attendance.
Innovation in CrocoTime is a diagnostic page. Displays messages about possible problems with the clockwork program and useful tips from the developer.
Interface A panel has been added to the main statistics pages to suggest possible actions on the selected items. You can now mark groups of elements in one click. You can delete marked items at the same time.
Warning system The new settings in the mail server settings allow you to support more mail servers. The ability to choose how to receive an alert is an innovation in the time and attendance system. You can find out about violations both immediately and the next day. The manager also has the ability to subscribe to alerts across all departments.
Accessing Departments It is possible to set the manager access to all departments at once: existing and those that will be added later. Our partners are expanding or increasing the number of licenses installed.
Speed Optimized performance for opening statistics pages.
CrocoTime 3.5.7
On July 18, 2014, Infomaximum announced the release of version 3.5.7 of the CrocoTime employee time control program.
The version of the system CrocoTime 3.5.7 is distinguished by an improved interface, the introduction of new columns "Early care" and "Attended the workplace" in reports, a change in the installation of agents through the GPO.
In the release of the time recording system CrocoTime 3.5.7, many wishes were realized to improve the usability parameter of the system.
For the convenience of small business enterprises, Infomaximum management decided to sell fixed-term licenses for CrocoTime - for 3 and 6 months. This cooperation option will be more convenient for small companies.
The free version for testing is valid for 2 weeks. You can download it or a free version for 7 people on the vendor's website.
2013
CrocoTime 3.0.0
On November 26, 2013 the Infomaksimum company reported about a release of new version 3.0.0 of a control system and accounting of working hours of CrocoTime.
Software settings are easier. To set the working time or to define a list of allowed resources for an entire directorate or individual employee, it is enough to select the necessary parameters in the hierarchical structure of the company with a single click. According to developers, version CrocoTime 3.0.0 makes it easier to monitor the working hours of subordinates for a manager whose departments are geographically removed.
In the new version of the program, it became possible to generate reports according to the specified parameters. All reporting is expressed in digital indicators, unlike similar programs presented on the market, but the ability to provide details of the programs and sites viewed by specific directorates and even individual employees has been preserved.
- Version 3.0.0 allows you to minimize the working time of the head of the company or department with the CrocoTime program, and also allows you to comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness of subordinates. We strive to make the system of control and recording of working hours CrocoTime accessible to anyone, not even a profile IT specialist of the company, "said Alexander Bochkin, director of Infomaximum.
Version 3.0.0, according to developers, is the largest update to the CrocoTime system. During the last week of November 2013, the company promises to issue another release of the program.
