The ABBYY company announced on July 11, 2013 successful use of a sensing technology within annual Uniform national testing in Kazakhstan – a USE analog in Russia. The solution on the ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine platform is implemented in 154 branches of the National center of testing of Kazakhstan.
Previously
Earlier for processing of results of testing the outdated and expensive marker scanners in service manufactured in the USA were used. For cost reduction it was decided to pass to modern stream scanners which cost of service is significantly lower. It caused a software update, used for processing of sheets of answers which was created on the basis of tools of ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine developer. Well thought over and simple interface of creating applications in use, detailed documentation and ready code samples allowed developers of the customer quickly and to effectively embed technology of ABBYY in the application for processing of results of Uniform national testing.
Result
The solution on the basis of technology of ABBYY completely meets all requirements of the customer. It provided the maximum accuracy of recognition of data, high data protection and minimized participation of people in check of results of testing – according to regulations verifiers should not participate in process. Besides, also the requirement for the high speed of recognition of data is observed: daily test is passed by about 16 thousand people, and results appear on the same day.
