The digital TV-signal of the first multiplex came to Primorsky Krai

The SATEL company completed the large-scale project of construction of network of radio-link communication for signal transmission of digital television in Primorsky Krai, the press service of the company reported on July 11, 2013.

The project was performed within the state program on implementation of the systems of digital television in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Disposition

The network is completely built on the equipment Ericsson Mini-Link Traffic Node. The network of radio-link communication in Primorye represents linear structure and connects all largest cities of edge: Vladivostok, Ussuriysk, Partizansk, Nakhodka, etc. The general capacity of network of radio-link communication was 155 Mbit / c (it can be programmatically expanded with 1 Gbps).

When giving a TV signal from the main website Vladivostok in this network conversion from the ASI interface to the Ethernet interface and signal transmission by means of network of radio-link communication on all websites of network is performed by multicoast traffic.

Further on the websites the signal of Ethernet will be transformed to a signal of ASI by means of Cisco interface converters, and redirected on TV transmitters for on-air broadcasting.

This conversion allowed to transmit from the central website a signal of the first television multiplex by means of the radio-link communication environment.

At occupation of a TV signal of a band 30 Mbit / the radio relay network allowed to transfer to c along with a TV signal the remained traffic both for an Ethernet network, and for E1 channels.

The complexity of the project was determined by strict requirements by delays of packets and parameters of a jitter by transfer of a TV signal. However, the quality of a radio relay equipment of Ericsson Mini-Link allowed to execute the project in time and according to all requirements.
