Wizard starts automation of a warehouse the profile solution

The department of logistic solutions of ASTOR company began the project of optimization and automation of warehouse processes of the first of three warehouses of the Wizard company in the city of Brovary (Ukraine) with the implementing solution ASTOR RS.WMS, the company integrator reported on July 12, 2013.

The project it is necessary to automate zones of a warehouse complex:

• Zone of pallet and rack storage
• Zone of floor and stacking storage
• Zone of mezzanine racks
• Zone of selection (replenishment) and carrying out extra works
• Storage area of not standard
• Acceptance zone
• Shipment zone

Main features of automation of an object:

• The automatic algorithm of placement of goods on storage (selection) should consider features of search of suitable cells
• A number of goods have unique identification numbers
• The goods on pallets can mix up, both according to the nomenclature, and on batches, in connection with a good selection and impossibility to provide it with separate storage locations
• When placement/moving the pallet is necessary load supervision on weight on a rack beam;
• RTs has cells, as for storage, and selection from them at the same time
• RTs uses processes of replenishment of cells of selection on requirements of shipment. Replenishment is made only by pallets.
• Shipment is made only from selection cells and also from overflow zone cells

Tasks of a system will be issued taking into account certain priorities for a data collection terminal.
