Multiregional Transit Telecom changes EDMS

Carried out by JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom (MTT) in cooperation with Business Logic 2.0 company system implementation of electronic document management "Logic of ECM. EDMS", the press service of integrator reported on July 16, 2013.

Pursuing efficiency

Following the strategy of MTT Group providing increase in efficiency of operating activities, implementation of corporate standards and the politician of information technologies for the companies of group JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom and a number of subsidiary companies passed to a new electronic document management system.

Objectives

Main objectives of implementation of a new system:

• increase in efficiency, efficiency and quality of interaction with business partners,
• improvement of performing discipline and increase in the personal liability of contractors of documents of all levels, including top management.

Background

A former system on the Documentum platform became morally outdated and did not answer the relevant managerial tasks facing the company. On analysis results of the document flow automation systems which are available in the market among which were considered several the most popular and proved ECM platforms including upgraded version of Documentum, by parameters of economic feasibility, functionality, speed and simplicity of implementation, MTT BOSS-Referent stopped the choice on the solution (nowadays "Logic of ECM. EDMS").

Job

The implementation project of a system is charged to consulting division of the system manufacturer, Business Logic 2.0 company. Works on system implementation are performed within 5 months, including inspection of processes of document flow in the companies, preparation of technical specifications, installation and setup of a system, training of staff of the company and trial operation which confirmed compliance to requirements of the customer.

During the project integration of EDMS with the ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics AX is executed, document templates are developed, according to requirements of the customer databases Office, Instructions, "Organizational and Administrative Documentation", Approval of Requests, Agreements are configured.

Result

For July 15, 2013 in a system more than 400 users from head office JSC MTT, branches and subsidiary companies actively work, and the efficiency of its use is confirmed with significant reduction of "paper" document flow and the increased performing discipline. With transition to new EDMS business divisions of the company had an opportunity to guarantee terms of consideration of documents in the company and partners, the state and corporate clients were positive for it.
