Russian Copper Company completed implementation of an ECM system

The implementation project ECM- systems is complete DIRECTUM in Russian Copper Company, the press service of developer company reported on July 18, 2013.

Tasks

A choice of the platform for the purposes of process automation of office-work is made on the basis of the analysis of offers of vendors. Systems were the main contenders for a victory Documentum (EMC) and DIRECTUM. They were estimated on functionality, convenience of operation and cost of ownership. As a result PMK it is entrusted to resolve issues on the main business processes to a system DIRECTUM.

Reference point

Project objective - creation of the uniform corporate standard in the field of document flow and a contracted work. As pilot objects for development and deployment of a system are selected: Russian Copper Company Ltd and Mikheevsky GOK Ltd. On the basis of business processes of the specified enterprises standard corporate solution of RMK on workflow automation of the company in the DIRECTUM system is developed and implemented.

Components

As RMK has big staff, DIRECTUM Enterprise delivery option is accepted. It has high scalability and powerful functionality. These are, first of all, Basic system modules, business solutions "Classical office-work", Contract management, Management of meetings, Management of business trips. System implementation went at the same time to Russian Copper Company Ltd and Mikheevsky GOK Ltd between which distributed work is carried out through services of interaction of the DIRECTUM DICS systems.

Job

Process of implementation was separated into two parts: "Organizational and administrative documentation" and "Agreements and accounts". Standard routes and reference books according to business processes of the company were step by step developed. As the staff of the company quite often makes business trips, additional reference books "Magazine of Tickets", "Requests for Money" were created.

For July 18, 2013 more than 40 thousand documents, including archive of contractual and organizational and administrative documents for previous years are entered into a system. Daily in a system more than 200 documents are created and registered. A total quantity of at the same time working users by the time of project completion – 120. All structural divisions of the pilot enterprises, including the top management of RMK and the Moscow representative office of Russian Copper Company Ltd are connected to work in EDMS. The employees who are not registered in a system receive tasks and documents from EDMS by e-mail.

Using services of interaction of the DIRECTUM DICS systems the possibility of end-to-end approval of contractual documents of Mikheevsky GOK Ltd of specialists of RMK within one standard route and also a possibility of setting and control of execution of tasks between the enterprises is configured.

"With system implementation of DIRECTUM document flow of our company is arranged, processes of office-work and contract work are automated, uniform corporate standards in the field are created. It minimizes failures to meet time constraints, loss of documents and allows to conduct transparent control of execution of tasks. The staff of the company had an opportunity to work with in-house documents in the remote mode using mobile devices (notebooks, tablet PCs, smartphones). We are going to use all systems capabilities to the maximum and also in addition to its replication on the enterprises in parallel to develop also functionality, – Marina Kuzmina, the director of management of IT, a result of the first stage of an implementation project noted. – Now all works on office-work, organizational and administrative documentation, agreements, invoices for payment and business trips take place according to the uniform corporate standard implemented on the DIRECTUM platform".
