RedSeal Networks is solution provider on information security, directed to automation of process of protection against network attacks. The products RedSeal help the companies to increase in the shortest possible time efficiency of information security due to creation of network topology and its assessment in terms of information security.

The company is founded in 2004 in the city of San-Mateo (California, the USA), its headquarters is located in the city of Santa Clara (California, the USA). The analysis system of risks of network security of RedSeal allows to obtain in real time information on a configuration of network devices, to build virtual model of network and to make the analysis of its current configuration on compliance to requirements for data protection. Unlike other products, RedSeal allows to estimate information security not at the level of the separate network device, and on the scale of all network of the organization in general. The solutions RedSeal it is applied to accomplishment of the following tasks:

• automation of process of collecting of configurations of network devices and means of protecting (firewalls, detection systems and prevention of the attacks),
• automatic creation of model of network (network topology),
• integration into network scanners of vulnerabilities (including MaxPatrol and Qualis) regarding collection of information about the available vulnerabilities and their display on the constructed model of network,
• assessment of settings of network devices and firewalls in terms of compliance to the best practices and information security standards,
• efficiency evaluation of the used rules of filtering of firewalls (detection of not used, excess or wrong rules of filtering),
• automatic creation of vectors of the possible attacks on the basis of the current network topology, the available network means of protecting and relevant vulnerabilities,
• automatic selection of the most priority vulnerabilities which elimination will lead to elimination of the most dangerous vectors of the attacks,
• change trackings in settings of network equipment and network means of protecting,
• notifications about emergence of new dangerous vectors of the attacks.

The RedSeal system is delivered in the form of program or a hardware and software system. The solution is well scaled and can be applied both in a small LAN, and in the geographically distributed communication networks numbering tens of thousands of network devices.
