The Borlas company created IT infrastructure for a corporate information system of the SANORS petrochemical holding on the Oracle platform, the press service of the company reported on July 23, 2013.
Complex
As a part of the combined team of the project, the Borlasa company deployed the equipment and performed installation and commissioning.
As a hardware platform the Oracle SPARC servers, a scalable storage system of Sun ZFS Storage Appliance are used. For archive information storage the modular library StorageTek from Oracle is selected. The solution allows to reach the high level of reliability and performance necessary for accomplishment of crucial tasks of holding and also minimizes the cost of ownership and increases efficiency of data storage thanks to integration into Oracle Database.
Project Progress
The equipment is deployed on two platforms deleted at distance of 4 km that guarantees operability of a system and preserving of data even in case of an abnormal stop of one of them. For control of servers in a distributed infrastructure the software solution Oracle Solaris Cluster which provides availability of databases and applications at failure of some components of IT infrastructure is used.
