Creation of a corporate communication network in Mosenergosbyt is complete

The Asteros group created a uniform corporate communication network for Mosenergosbyt on the platform of the solution Avaya S8800, the press service of the company reported on July 23, 2013.

Project Background

For ensuring high-quality information exchange of divisions, the operational solution of working questions, reducing costs of a domestic long distance communication and administration of a system of telephony at the end of 2011 Mosenergosbyt initiated the project on creation of a uniform corporate communication network. According to the results of the tender the partner selects the Asteros group.

Project progress

Upgrade of telecommunication infrastructure was carried out on 31 platforms. As a core of a system of corporate telephony the Avaya S8800 server installed at the central office "Mosenergosbyt" is selected. Control of a communication framework is exercised using the solution Avaya Aura Communication Manager 5.2.

For creation of a uniform corporate communication network in 20 departments which are not equipped with office telephone exchange the IP gateways Avaya are installed, and in 11 remained — the existing autonomous stations Panasonic are upgraded. For this purpose specialists of Asteros replaced processor modules of automatic telephone exchange of Panasonic with the new KX-TDE series providing integration of automatic telephone exchange of Panasonic into a corporate communication network using IP telephony technologies.

After setup and connection of the equipment in departments of the customer the command of Asteros integrated the created network with corporate telephone exchange of the central office — Coral. Thus for the staff of divisions an exit in the general corporate telecommunication space with the uniform internal number of rooms was provided.

"In a year we created a building and scalable solution which with ease can be expanded due to connection of new regional platforms. At the same time the general capacity of telephone communication which during the project contained about 1000 numbers can be gradually increased up to 20 thousand – 30 thousand, and the number of operator platforms – up to 250. The telecommunication infrastructure constructed on modern solutions in the future can become a basis for development of technology of unified communications" — Valery Sokolyuk, the director of the department of infrastructure and telecommunication solutions of the Asteros group noted.

"The implemented project which covered in total 31 platforms is only the beginning, iceberg top. In the nearest future we are going to upgrade gradually a corporate communication network in all departments and offices of the company which total quantity more than 100.
