ReSharper is popular expansion for a development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio.

ReSharper 8.0

On July 22, 2013 the JetBrains company announced ReSharper v product output. 8.0.

Now the product supports five versions of the Visual Studio, including 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012. When there is a final release of the Visual Studio 2013, also the update supporting him for ReSharper will be released.

"Support of the latest versions of the Visual Studio right after their release — without it they as without hands is necessary for many users of ReSharper. Once having learned this lesson, we do everything possible in time to release completely compatible versions of a product — Ilya Ryzhenkov, the head of department of .NET-development in JetBrains noted. — However on it advantages of the new version of ReSharper do not come to an end at all. Perhaps, it would be simpler to list areas which we did not improve".

Version new products

The new version of a product expands navigation aids in the solutions Visual Studio both at the level of the code, and at the level of projects.

The most noticeable improvements of ReSharper 8:

• Support of Microsoft Visual Studio of 2013 Preview when preserving compatibility with the previous four versions of this IDE.
• The accelerated correction of the code. Many types of automatic correction of the code which are offered by ReSharper can be applied in large quantities, in scales of the project or all solution now.
• Architectural tools. Now ReSharper is able to visualize the scheme of dependences between projects in the solution Visual Studio, and compilation of the code for this purpose is not required.
• Templates for creation of file sets. The new type of templates allows to create quickly at once several files that simplifies generation of the standard code.
• New automated refactoring. The major and the most anticipated of new refaktoring — Move Instance Method allowing to move methods between classes without doing them static.
• Exclusive support of XAML. Developers who deal with WPF, Windows Phone, Windows Store and other types of applications on the basis of XAML receive in the order a broad set of inspections of the code and fast corrections (quick-fixes) and also a set of refaktoring for management of styles and resources.
• Simplification of work with expansions. Thanks to the new manager of expansions on the basis of NuGet it became much simpler to learn about the ReSharper expansions in the Visual Studio 2010 and newer versions, to set and delete them.

Among other important changes — new commands of navigation, more intuitive autocompletion of the code, advanced support of CSS, the corrected formatting of the code.
