Continent of IPC-10

The continent of IPC-10 – the cryptogateway intended for protection of ATMs and other payment terminals. It performs functions of network shielding and the routing, cryptographic data protection transferred on communication channels, protects from the attacks directed to interception of traffic of bank transactions and gaining access to accounts of bank card owners, the attacks like "failure in service" (DDoS).

On July 23, 2013 the Code of Security company announced expansion of a lineup of a hardware-software complex of enciphering Continent and release of a new hardware platform "the Continent of IPC-10".

Distinctive features of the Continent platform of IPC-10 are its compact sizes and low power consumption. "Continent" IPC-10 also supports work with wireless networks 3G at the expense of what it is possible to organize reservation of communication channels with ATMs and to provide automatic switching to an alternative channel in case of failure of communication without loss of availability of the ATM.

The Continent platform is delivered to IPC-10 in a type, ready for integration into IT infrastructure, and does not require purchase costs of add-on modules, for example modules of a trusted boot or cryptoproviders.

"The continent of IPC-10" conforms to requirements of regulators imposed to firewalls of the 3rd class and the means of cryptographic information protection (MCIP) of class KC 3 that is confirmed by certificates of conformity of FSTEC of Russia and FSB of Russia.

Computing platform

The product is created on the basis of the modern Intel processor Atom N2600 (Cedarview) with a frequency of 1.6 GHz with low power consumption, is equipped with 2 GB of RAM of DDR3, three network interfaces of Ethernet, supports an opportunity for work in the multi-WAN configuration and provides performance in the mode of enciphering of the traffic/firewall (VPN) not less than 3 Mbps. "The continent of IPC-10" also supports the external 3G-USB-modem for connection using cellular networks 3G.

Availability

"The continent of IPC-10" will go on sale on October 1, 2013 and Continent of version 3.6 will be delivered with software. The solution is completely compatible to the new version of software Continent preparing for release 3.7.
