Tekhnologii kachestva Ltd completed a complex implementation project of technologies of automation during which at the enterprise a system " is started by 1C: Process production", the press service of the implementer - "Institute of Standard Solutions — Production" company (Institute of Model Solutions) reported on July 25, 2013.

Preparation of the project

Before start of the project the enterprise information system developed by own IT specialists on the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform ceased to satisfy to business needs. Reasons:

  • new quality requirements of enterprise management,
  • need of ensuring more active document flow,
  • the large volume and detail of the considered transactions.

Considerable expansion of activity of the company demanded from an information system of the functionality inherent to solutions of the class ERP, namely:

  • increase in detail and efficiency of accounting,
  • single input of any information,
  • providing reliable data about cost value and profitability of products,
  • uniform end-to-end normative handbook data for all structural divisions of the company.

On the basis of contrastive analysis of solutions, the company management selected the system "1C: Process production" of joint development of the companies "1C" and "Institute of Standard Solutions — Production" (ISSP). The optimal ratio of functionality, the minimum volume of completions and possible risks at implementation became the main argument for benefit of this program system.

Project Progress

The project is implemented in the conditions of high requests and organizational restrictions. In its framework it was succeeded to adjust uninterrupted receipt of data of primary production accounting, receipt documents and implementation, convolution of data for postprocessing by employees of financial service. In a system the standard mechanism of projections which allows financial service to implement in a system complex circuits of formation of finance documents on the basis of operational documents when on the basis of one document of operational accounting it is possible to create automatically up to 10 finance documents on the different organizations (legal entities and business units) is implemented.

As a result of implementation functions of operational, managerial, regulated accounting and control function by resources, shift planning of production, calculation of planned cost are automated.

2015

June 16, 2015. The "Institute of Standard Solutions — Production" company (Institute of Model Solutions) reported[1] about completion of automation of Tekhnologii kachestva Ltd. A system on the basis of the solution for automation of process production on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, helped to organize operational production management, to adjust accurate accounting of raw materials and finished goods in a warehouse, to improve quality of purchase planning, to optimize logistics management. The amount of the raw materials which are once stored in a warehouse that allowed to release additional resources for business development decreased by 15%. Time for approval of agreements and accompanying documents is three times reduced, shipment of goods to buyers accelerated, customer orders are executed timely. As a result the loyalty of buyers to the company increased, the number of new orders increased.

Goals and Objectives

In recent years the customer base of the company extended by 15 times, production volume increased by 10 times, the number of the entering orders increased up to 50 in day. The information system which would allow to accelerate processing orders of buyers became necessary for the enterprise for effective work in conditions all of the increasing loading, to reduce time spent for shipment of goods and formation of accompanying documents to a minimum - agreements, specifications, delivery notes, etc. It was required to adjust accurate accounting in a warehouse and to organize timely purchases of raw materials and materials, to improve quality of production planning and sales taking into account customer needs, to increase the accuracy of cost accounting of products and to strengthen control of profitability of sales.

Choosing a Solution

As a basis for the solution of assigned tasks the management selected a system "1C: Process production. Chemistry". The "Institute of Standard Solutions — Production" (Institute of Model Solutions LLC) company specializing in automation of manufacturing enterprises became the partner in implementation.

Project Progress

During the project 55 jobs were automated.

Key results of the project:

  • The main document flow of the company is transferred to an electronic form. The exchange rate documents between divisions increased. Time for daily approval of 25-30 new agreements and about 50 packets of shipment documents is reduced by 3 times. It helped the enterprise to increase service rate of buyers without staff increase of employees. The company could process and ship orders just in time, without delays.
  • The quality of production planning improved. The diagram of production forms in a system taking into account current orders, a remaining balance of raw materials and materials in a warehouse now. On the basis of the diagram all production documents - the requirement the delivery note, the specification, documents on a material transfer and finished goods, etc. automatically form. All this ensured operational and smooth functioning of production divisions and helped to strengthen control of production.
  • Accurate accounting of raw materials and finished goods in a warehouse is adjusted. There was an opportunity to quickly calculate the need for raw materials and materials taking into account the current remaining balance. It allowed to plan more rationally supplier orders and not to buy superfluous. Stocks once stored in raw-material storage are reduced by 15% that allowed the company to release additional money on business development.
  • Orders of buyers are processed three times quicker, their transfer to production accelerated, control of their accomplishment is strengthened. Now the manager can provide to the client at any moment detailed information on degree of readiness of his order, on at what stage of a production cycle there is an order whether it will be ready just in time or earlier, whether delays and for what reasons are possible. The company could increase efficiency and improve customer service quality. The loyalty of buyers increased, the number of new orders increased.
  • Formation of the management reporting became simpler and accelerated. There was an opportunity to receive analytical reports about activity of divisions for the different periods and by different criteria. It helps the management to reveal new opportunities for increase in business performance, For Example, detailed reports on cost of sales allowed the management to develop measures for decrease in logistic costs: a new system gave the chance to consider costs for transport, handling works and other warehouse costs to within the delivery note and the vehicle, this information helped to reveal inefficient routes and to transfer them to outsourcing.

Performance of work of personnel increased twice. The quality of planning of activity increased. It was succeeded to strengthen control of all workflows. Important tasks of business management were solved, operational receiving valuable management information which was unavailable earlier is adjusted. For example, I at last managed to estimate product cost taking into account logistic costs and on the basis of it to optimize logistic flows".
