Biography

Mikhail Pavlovich Shchetinin was born on August 6, 1953 in Barnaul of Altai Krai. He is married, two children.

Education

Labor activity of the beginnings in 1971 the electrician of the Barnaul CHPP-1. In 1976 graduated from the Altai polytechnical institute to them I.I. Polzunov, in 1999 – the Altai state university in Law.

Career

• From 1976 to 1993 worked in the Altai branch of All-Union research institute of the butter and cheese-making industry, there passed the way from the engineer to the head of the laboratory of processes and devices.
• From 1993 to 1996 held a position of the deputy head of administration of Zheleznodorozhny district of Barnaul. It was elected the deputy of the Barnaul City Council of three convocations.
• From April, 1996 to March, 2003 worked as the Chairman of the Committee on economic policy, property and the budget of the Barnaul City Council, from March, 2003 to September, 2005 – the head of administration of Zheleznodorozhny district of Barnaul.
• Since September, 2005 Mikhail Pavlovich Shchetinin is appointed the chief of Head department of economy and investments of Altai Krai, in April, 2007 - the deputy head of administration of Altai Krai, the chief of Head department of economy and investments of Altai Krai. Since December, 2007 – the deputy governor of Altai Krai, the chief of Head department of economy and investments of Altai Krai. - For November, 2014 did not occupy the post.

Doctor of Engineering, professor, author more than 300 scientific works and 30 patents for inventions. It is awarded with certificates of honor of the Altai edge Council of People's Deputies and Administrations of Altai Krai, administration of Barnaul, the Siberian department of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Federal Tourism Agency, a medal of Altai Krai "For merits in work" and a medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the II degree.
