In 2012 Alliance Healthcare godukompaniye with the assistance of ManhattanAssociates company started development of the uniform WMS solution for all regional network of warehouses and representations. Automation of the distribution center in France served as a pilot project of system implementation of management of the warehouse ManhattanWMOS in pharmaceutical holding AllianceHealthcare. During a pilot project the design of a system, so-called core design was designed, warehouse processes are automated, report forms are developed.
After approval of the WMS template of a system, uniform for all countries, and automation of the distribution center in Paris, replication of the solution on regional distribution centers was begun. As the first project automation of the distribution center "Alliance Helskea Rus" in the city of Klimovsk, with a total area of 17,000 sq.m. acted.
The structure of the Russian part of business of Alliance Healthcare differs from activity of the European branches. For the European branches Alliance Healthcare the warehouse management system ManhattanWMOS was considered, first of all, as the solution for automation of prewholesale activity, rendering 3pl-services to producers. Business of Alliance Healthcare is more started in Russia on distribution activity. In this connection, a number of discrepancies between the processes and requirements implemented in the pilot version of a WMS system Alliance of Helskearus was revealed. For minimization of local requirements and the maximum compliance to a template IT specialists "Alliance Helskea Rus" together with a command of Corus Consulting formulated requirements of the Russian part of business.
