The Tyumen TsSM will create a virtual private network for 20 divisions

Rostelecom starts to creation of a virtual private network (VPN) for federal budgetary institution "The State Regional Center of Standardization, Metrology and Tests in the Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area" (FBU "Tyumen TsSM"), the press service of operator reported on August 5, 2013.

Project Background

Rostelecom acquired the right to conducting works in the project based on tender in which it offered the most advantageous conditions.

Project Plans

According to terms of the contract the telecom operator will organize IP VPN for FBU "Tyumen TsSM" with the central point in Tyumen. The center will be connected to 20 structural objects which are engaged in testing works in KhMAO, YaNAO and in the south of the Tyumen region.

Capacity of each channel to an endpoint - up to 100 Mbps. The VPN network will be used for ensuring stable work of corporate IT systems and transfer of traditional types of traffic.
