"The business environment" preferred a cloud environment to construction of own IT structure

The Business Environment project selected "cloud" infrastructure of ActiveCloud by Softline as an alternative to own infrastructure, the press service of cloud provider reported on August 6, 2013.
Start of Project
At a basis stage the company management began to consider use of "cloud" services and a hosting as an alternative to creation of own infrastructure. As the reliable and effective platform of the project selected cloud solutions from ActiveCloud company.
"We tried to exclude possible problems with purchase of fixed assets, the equipment server, engineering framework and personnel for service at once", - Mikhail Suslov, the head of service of Delovaya sreda Ltd noted.
The choice stood between ActiveCloud and Amazon. The absence at foreign "cloud" provider of an opportunity to perform financial calculations by the Russian legislation and to fulfill the requirements of 152 Federal Laws became one of decisive factors of involvement of ActiveCloud to the project. For benefit of ActiveCloud services there was also a Russian-language technical support and the recommendations of familiar specialists – clients of the company.
Project Progress
Use of service began one of projects with testing. Testing continued month, and following the results the decision on gradual transfer of all projects, their components in ActiveCloud "cloud" is made. Technical specialists of "The business environment" developed SaaS projects on the "cloud" platform independently, if necessary consulting with engineers of ActiveCloud who have access to a control panel the infrastructure of "cloud" allowing to add the necessary services and resources.
For August 6, 2013 a number of projects of the Business Environment portal works according to the SaaS model.
For each project the SLA caused by standards of the service level and technical support work. According to the contract with ActiveCloud SLA Premium service level works: presence of the selected technical specialist, support 24х7 with the maximum term of reaction of 1 hour and also the availability of services at the level of 99.95% supported with financial guarantees.
Mikhail Suslov noted: "Use of "cloud" was the resolved issue on start of our project. It was necessary only to select the supplier of service. For a number of reasons we had to leave last provider. It was as an alternative going to use services of Amazon, but it was necessary to refuse this idea. Then we investigated proposals of domestic cloud providers and came to ActiveCloud. Now we use CloudServer (IaaS) service as the full-fledged IT infrastructure, placing both own commercial products, and customer services. We are satisfied with work of service for 100% and we hope for long cooperation with ActiveCloud".
