Donetskteplokommunenergo implements the system of collective interaction

The AMI company completed creation of a system of audio-video of conferences and collective interaction on the basis of Microsoft Lync Server 2013 for the purpose of increase in efficiency of joint work of employees of OKP of Donetskteplokommunenergo, the press service of integrator reported on August 22, 2013.

Project Progress

Within the project the analysis of the existing IT infrastructure is carried out, basic IT services and service of collective work are unrolled, the server framework is upgraded, equipment of a conference room is made.

Deployment of virtual environment of Microsoft Hyper-V in which server roles systems on the Microsoft Lync Server 2013 platform are installed and configured is executed.

Project Results

Project implementation ensures simultaneous operation with the system of audio-video of conferences and collective interaction of staff of 26 remote divisions of OKP of Donetskteplokommunenergo in the mode of video, audio and web conferences, including with a possibility of remote access of authorized users to a system from the Internet.

The created system allows to use in conferences of video of high definition (broadcasting up to 5 HD flows in one conference at the same time) and also to perform audio and video calls in the mode "one to one". Possibilities of broadcast of the presentations in the Microsoft PowerPoint format, transfer and joint work over documents in any formats are provided, to record of communication sessions, text messaging and informing on a presence status of users.

For holding the presentations, conferences, working meetings using a videkonferentssvyaza the conference room of the enterprise is equipped with the panoramic camera Polycom CX5000, the video wall of LG with diagonal 65", the workplace of the organizer of conferences is equipped.
