2018: Altivar Machine ATV340
On May 28, 2018 the Schneider Electric company announced expansion of family of the frequency converters AltivarTM. The Altivar Machine ATV340 series combines simplicity of installation and modern control algorithms for easy integration in automation systems of industrial mechanisms that answers requests of an era of "smart" machines.
Main advantage of a series for the industry – in an opportunity to offer better products with the optimized cost and term.
The frequency converters ATV340 have high rates of performance. Devices are developed including for control of mechanisms with high dynamics. They provide flexibility of work for all types of electric motors in the closed or opened circuit. Use of technology of a fast Ethernet and the minimum cycle of poll - 1 ms – allow to reduce a response time at increase mechanism capacity. Also built-in multiprotocol based on Ethernet, the built-in module of the encoder, function for industry applications and compatibility with a wide number of electric motors allow to achieve additional flexibility at design.
Altivar Machine ATV340 allow to reduce design time significantly. Complete replication of the project is available on clicking of one button, and ready libraries of the tested architecture increase design speed.
ATV340 has the certificate of cyber security of Achilles level 2 and completely conforms to standards of EN ISO 1384901 and EN 62061. Devices are intended for work in environments with the high level of dust and the increased vibration at a temperature to 60ºC. Remote monitoring provides predictive service, and function of fast replacement allows to reduce time of service works.
The frequency converters Altivar Machine ATV340 are suitable for work in different industries - such as packaging, processing and material handling, hoisting-and-transport equipment.
2016: Altivar Machine ATV320
On November 7, 2016 the Schneider Electric company announced release of Altivar Machine ATV320 – the variable-frequency drive for use in a power range from 0.18 to 15 kW (0.25 - 20 hp).
The device is developed for OEM manufacturing and enters Altivar Machine product line. The drive helps to increase efficiency of industrial machines, to lower design costs and development.
Properties

2013: Altivar 1200
The Schneider Electric company provided in August, 2013 the frequency converter for control of electric motors of medium voltage of Altivar 1200. Efficiency of the new transformer, taking into account losses on cooling, is 96.5% at the efficiency of the inverter of 98.5%. The operating voltage of the device is from 3 to 10 kV, and power – from 315 to 16,200 kVA. Harmonic content less than 2%.
The frequency converter Altivar 1200 provides energy saving on average to 30% and uses the most advanced developments of Schneider Electric. In a basic complete set are available: the separate cooling system of power and control parts, the transformer with the integrated air ducts the working to + 90C, built-in uninterruptible power supply unit of APC by Schneider Electric for 30 minutes, a covering for chemically aggressive environments, illumination of a cabinet, execution of IP31, IP41 or IP42.

Altivar 1200 has the large 10 inch touch display and the simple software that allows to perform start of the transformer in several contacts. The transformer can manage both asynchronous, and synchronous motors, the systems of cascade start-up and a network bypass and also can work in feedback systems. For reliability augmentation Altivar 1200 can be completed with a solid-state bypass of power cells. The transformer is very easy-to-work also service, frontal access to all elements allows to set it closely to a wall. The combined cabinet is up to 30% more compact than analogs.
The net sinusoidal form of current at the exit of Altivar 1200 is safe for isolation even of very old engines. The lowered harmonic content ensures safety of network, and security of the device is reached at the expense of the system of the blocking locks, bolts of sealing, access lock and signaling system.
