Task

The new office "Yunilever" was placed on four floors of prestigious business center Marr Plaza. It integrated more than 800 employees who till this time worked at five different offices. Moving was directly connected with desire of the management to consolidate all specialists in one territory.

With respect thereto there was a need to create global audiovisual infrastructure. It covers about fifty premises on four floors of office of 9000 sq.m. From them twenty eight are meeting rooms. Employees needed to provide effective AV instruments of negotiating and work with clients, to create comfortable audiovisual conditions of stay in office.

Are a part of the system AV systems structure of infrastructure for collective in meeting rooms a restoration system of meeting rooms, the warning system of all office and the system of AV broadcasting in all cafes and an entrance zone.

Solution

To optimize process of creation of the audiovisual environment and equipment of a large number of premises, first of all typification of AV complexes was made. All equipped premises were separated into groups with identical equipment. It allowed to formulate more accurately requirements to the audiovision of each premises. Understand what technical means and AV technologies are demanded by employees during the meetings and are necessary for successful negotiations and work. Reduction of terms and design costs became important result of it. As a result, several standard projects according to which all extensive array of premises was equipped turned out.

In each of twenty eight meeting rooms the possibility of maintenance of negotiations by the presentation or other materials on the LCD display is implemented. A source of information is the guest notebook which is connected via the connector of the patch panel on a table.

Meeting rooms at office are extremely demanded. Arrange their use, distribute load, exclude misunderstanding and pads the installed restoration system is called. In twenty three meeting rooms at an input from a corridor panels restoration systems of meeting rooms are installed. Na the LCD screen of a panel is in real time brought the schedule of the meeting room, with all planned actions. It is possible to reserve the premises directly from this panel, via the web interface, or using MS Outlook. To all participants at the event the notification will come to e-mail with all contact information. It is possible to order the additional hardware (notepads, paper, pencils, handles, the equipment, coffee, documentation, etc.). Or to announce necessary arrangement of furniture. If a meeting regular, it is possible to plan it for the year ahead.

Eight meeting rooms are equipped with the motorized screen and a projector on ceiling fastening for demonstration of the presentations. The guest notebook acts as a source of information. The speaker system which is built in a false ceiling reproduces a presentation sound. The control of the motorized screen and projector is performed from a wall button bar.

In two meeting rooms desktop interactive LCD displays 19 are placed’’. The touch display allows to manage using fingers the presentations brought to the projection screen. In one of these negotiation the possibility of holding sessions of audioconference communication with remote subscriber on a telephone line is implemented.

Control of the equipment in meeting rooms is exercised from the wireless touchpad Crestron or from a wall button bar.

Except meeting rooms a number of the premises performing support functions was equipped. In two cafes LCD displays with the built-in TV-tuner and loudspeakers which provide viewing transfers of the radio TV are installed. In gym the AV complex providing demonstration on two plasma displays of videos with HDD/DVD of a recorder and reproduction by the ceiling speaker system of music from a DVD player is set.

The demonstration zone, a peculiar training center in which culinary trainings are provided is equipped. The AV complex provides video filming, image recording and a sound, all zone and all actions of the cook on HDD/DVD a recorder. Along with image recording its reproduction on two LCD displays is performed. Video filming is made by the ceiling rotary camera. All equipment is controlled from the wireless touchpad Crestron.

In shop on the ninth floor the LCD display with the built-in computer (PC) and the speaker system is installed. Here corporate and product videos are shown. On the same floor in a recreation area the complex of the AV equipment allows to hold the full-fledged presentations. For the best result media content is brought from the connected guest notebook to two LCD displays. The soundtrack is provided by the ceiling speaker system. The optimum level of sound amplification of the speech is provided by two wireless microphones.

For the simultaneous operational report of information to all employees on important events the office "Yunilever" is equipped with the warning system. The company considers that this more effective remedy, than internal mailing. Voice intelligences using the microphone panel are instantly available in open work areas of office on the sixth, seventh and eighth floors.

The system of AV broadcasting is installed in all coffee zones and an entrance zone of office. It is designed to show ready videos with a soundtrack about the company, its brands and global corporate policy.

Results

All audiovisual environment at office "Yunilever" is thought over to trifles. Competent determination of functional tasks helped to design optimum AV systems in all zones. The complex AV solution covered 28 negotiation, gym, two cafes, training center, shop, a recreation area. The warning system on all four floors of the company is installed.

Funktsialny typification of AV systems allowed to resolve effectively issues of equipment of a large number of premises. Typification helped to reduce design terms, to accelerate implementation, to increase reliability of AV complexes. The customer received the necessary tool of the solution of routine tasks of customer interaction and communication in the company.
