The anti-corruption directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is automated on Open Source

Until the end of 2014 the Ministry of Internal Affairs is going to develop software for automation of functions of the Main Directorate for Economic Safety and Counteracting Corruption of department – "service of providing economic safety".

As it appears from the published project documentation, the solution should provide automation of accomplishment of such tasks of management as collecting, processing and information storage, the operational search activity received in the course of implementation, and the analysis of a status of economic crime for the purpose of coordination of activity of territorial authorities and divisions of central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Also it will allow to conduct organizational and methodical ensuring activity of the divisions of police performing operational search activities for the line of economic safety and anti-corruption, both operational and analytical maintenance of investigation and search operations and identification of intersections of interests of operational divisions concerning the same objects.

Besides, a system will allow to automate the organization of departmental and interdepartmental interaction for activity of divisions of economic safety and anti-corruption and carrying out researches of financial and economic documents.

Already operating EAIAS of economic safety and results of ROC on development of the specialized geographically distributed, automated system of economic security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs completed in 2012 should be taken as a basis of service.

In technical requirements to service of providing economic safety it is specified that it should function running Linux-like OS, and as DBMS - to be used the high-performance industrial database supporting replication between servers and horizontal scaling including -DBMS open source.

Special by software of a system it has to be implemented as cross-platform and it is developed on a modern high-level programming language open source, said in requirements to a system.

In the same place it is specified that it should be designed so that to provide necessary high-speed performance during the work in it at the same time not less than 3 thousand human.
