LCSignPlugin cryptoplug-in

Specialists of LISSI-Soft LLC develop a platformonezavisimy plug-in which can be considered as plain and universal remedy of ensuring the protected electronic document management (the electronic signature, enciphering) based on the Russian cryptography:

The plug-in was developed for the purpose of withdrawal from monopoly of MS Windows and MS of Internet Explorer and providing an opportunity to users to solve what browsers to use and in what operating systems to work what means of cryptographic information protection (MCIP) and the electronic signature (ES) to use.

For the work the plug-in of LCSignPlugin can use one of high-level libraries:

• CSPCryptoWrapper;
• NSSCryptoWrapper;
• LirCryptoWrapper;
• SLLCryptoWrapper.

The first library - CSPCryptoWrapper - uses CryptoAPI MS Windows and is used only on the MS Windows platform. As a basic CIPF she assumes use of MS CSP, with support of the Russian cryptography, for example "LISSI-CSP".

Other libraries are platformonezavisimy and function practically on any platforms (Linux, Unix, MS Windows, OS X, etc.), including Android and iOS.

The NSSCryptoWrapper library is written using LS NSS (Network Security Services with support of the Russian cryptography) and means use as a CIPF of the programmy and hardware tokens / smart cards which are supporting the Russian cryptography (ruToken, eToken, MSKey and others) and having the PKCS#11 interface.

The LirCryptoWrapper library is written based on PBZI "CIPF LIRSSL", and the SSLCryptoWrapper library is written based on OpenSSL 1.0 with the connected engine lc_core.

All libraries have the same user interface and allow to use as a CIPF the program and hardware tokens / smart cards which are supporting the Russian cryptography (ruToken, eToken, MSKey and others) and having the PKCS#11 interface.

The family of libraries (hardware-software tokens) providing the single interface of their use is for this purpose developed (ls libraries _<имя_библиотеки_токена>). For the purpose of fight against piracy the license policy of use of tokens/smart cards in products of LISSI-Soft LLC is entered.

For storage of root certificates and certificates of third-party users in case of involvement of CSPCryptoWrapper library the storage of certificates MS Windows is used. The NSSCryptoWrapper library uses NSS storage. In other cases the storage supported by a program token of LS11SW is created and used.

In comparison with the previous versions of a plug-in new features are added to it, namely:

• backup of personal certificates in the containers PKCS#12 (import PKCS#12 was implemented earlier);
• viewing certificates, including qualified;
• viewing requests for certificates in the PKCS#10 format.

The plug-in allows to develop any services connected with use of the Russian cryptography in such spheres as electronic document management, in banking sector, in electronic biddings, etc.
