The Moscow representative office "Lukoil Oversiz" manages work of the foreign offices which are engaged in geological exploration and development of fields on oil and gas production. With respect thereto quite often there is a need to hold meetings with the specialists who are in different parts of the world. In the course of discussion quite often there is a need to resolve difficult technical situations. And here not only the qualitative and reliable selector and video conferencing, but also the powerful system of visualization of specialized data is demanded.

TsPPR is intended for accomplishment of the following tasks:

• Monitoring of geological and hydrodynamic models of fields;
• Online access to geologic-geophysical and trade information;
• Work on interpretation of geophysical data with use of three-dimensional visualization;
• Design of construction of wells on the basis of geological and hydrodynamic models of fields;
• Carrying out video conferences and presentations;
• Preparation and acceptance of management decisions using corporate office applications;
• Organization and carrying out Data Room.

Within the project it was necessary to create essentially new display system on the basis of the cylindrical screen six meters wide and two meters high with the ultrahigh resolution of 4800х1600, a new professional sound, new specialized lighting, high-quality VKS, difficult switching, centralized operation and reservation.

Implementation

In 2010 there was a question of cardinal upgrade of the single system of the Center of Decision Support (CDS) created in 2004. In fact, it was necessary to create the new Center. On a tender basis the contractor of the project selected DELIGHT 2000 company. Specialists of DELIGHT 2000, jointly with specialists "Lukoil Oversiz", developed the engineering design of upgrade providing effective use of TsPPR. The innovation as the principle was put in a basis of a search criterion and selection of the equipment and technologies for the new Center of support and decision making.

DELIGHT 2000 proposed the complete solution which could meet all user requirements on creation of the innovation center of support and decision making. During upgrade of TsPPR "Lukoil Oversiz" the new system providing the high level of efficiency and comfort of development and decision making was created. Updating affected practically all elements of already existing environment, demanded complex and research approach.

"The convenience of visualization provides the big screen with the ultrahigh permission to which it is possible to bring freely necessary quantity of windows with any auxiliary information. It can be discussed not only to the participants who are present at the center. It is possible to work on it together with removed specialists who are on foreign objects. For example, during discussion of geological and technical actions on the screen at the same time, in different windows, the card of development, logging on the well, tabular operation parameters of wells, project documents is displayed. All this is discussed with specialists who are directly in the Asset performing mining. A set of scenarios for different operation modes is specially prepared. Each scenario regulates what information, from what sources, in what window is output".

In the course of work projects are implemented:

• Architectural and planning design – re-planning, registration, space coloring. Calculations of lighting and selection of color scheme of all premises were executed using 3D modeling.
• Creations of a unique display system 3D and 2D of content on the basis of the system of the return projection of ultrahigh resolution of 4800х1600 pixels. A system allows to display 2D and 3D both on all screen, and in the multiwindow mode, in any configuration. The screen of a cylindrical form is installed and projection on not perpendicular surface is configured. Use of the screen of such form provides effect of bigger immersion in work with geological and hydrodynamic models, makes at attendees in the TsPPR hall an impression of the involvement into virtually created space, promotes good results at development and decision making.
• Rise, transportation and installation of the tough seamless cylindrical prosvetny screen of the return projection of 6х2 meters in size that demanded creation of a 3D model of process of a bringing of the fragile screen to the center premises.
• Calculation, design, production and installation of the unique tough aluminum frame fixing the seamless screen in necessary cylindrical provision.
• System of a video conferencing. The big seamless screen of ultrahigh permission, a realistic sound and lighting create Teleprisutstviya's effect. High-quality carrying out video conferences is provided by four HD video cameras, loudspeakers of a surround sound and the equipment for synchronous translation. Operation of cameras VIDEOCONFERENCING is integrated to operation of microphone panels. At turning on of the microphone, the video camera switches to speaking. At switching off of all microphones, the camera passes into the mode of demonstration of a vista shot. Forced regulation and switching of video cameras by the operator is provided. In the hall the lamps providing uniform shadowless lighting are installed;
• Development, modeling and creation of the professional speaker system which is most precisely reproducing a sound. Creates effect of presence and provides high informational content and legibility of the speech. A system includes two sets of microphones: a set of stationary microphones on the main table and a set of the ostronapravlenny microphones ensuring comfortable functioning for the specialists who are not behind the main desktop;
• Development and creation of a lighting system, with a possibility of adaptation to different operating conditions of the center. Turns on a complex of the directed shadowless light which provides uniform, correct, natural and bright illumination of persons.
• Creation of a difficult and branched switching system video and audiosources. TsPPR is integrated with the Center of monitoring of drilling "Lukoil Oversiz" that allows specialists to be connected to the solution of the difficult production questions arising in the course of construction of wells quickly.
• Development and creation of the centralized control system with the preset scenarios of work. Management of all TsPPR components from a desktop of operators and/or the main desktop is provided;
• Restoration systems of basic elements of a complex which provides operability of a system in case of failure of a part of the equipment.

World leading manufacturers of a professional equipment are directly involved in project implementation on upgrade of TsPPR, divisions of Da-Lite, projectiondesign, RGB Spectrum, NVidia were attracted R&D.

The system of telepresence with immersion in 3D reality

In total the Center has a set of qualities, analogs which are not present, not only in Russia, but probably and anywhere in the world. In the project of upgrade of TsPPR the DELIGHT 2000 company used a number of the innovative and unique technical and technological solutions and original solutions developed by specialists of DELIGHT 2000.

Creation of the screen of a cylindrical form provides effect of bigger immersion in work with 3D models, makes an impression of presence and volume, conveniently and originally. The feeling of the involvement into virtually created space promotes good results at development and decision making. This system allows to work with difficult three-dimensional images of the geological structures, deposits of hydrocarbons, infrastructure facilities of fields easily.

In fact it is the full-fledged situational center providing control, monitoring, development and decision making on a broad spectrum of questions. The high-quality system of a video conferencing with effect of presence due to high resolution, special lighting and an exact sound erases borders. Here it is possible to hold both normal conferences and geographically distributed so as if all participants are at one table – nothing is a noise.
