Central telegraph within process optimization of financial and economic management passes to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, the GMCS company integrator reported on August 28, 2013.
Project Background
The project - continuation of cooperation of the telecom operator and GMCS. In its framework optimization and transfer of the existing functionality of the customer (finance and treasury) on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform, implementation of new functionality is supposed. Electronic document management which it is necessary to implement GMCS on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform belongs to new functionality.
Expectations of the project
With project completion the customer will receive the updated business tool for conducting accounting and management accounting, planning and control of money in different detailing and also completely automated document flow.
Central Telegraph uses Microsoft Dynamics AX since 2005. During this time works on optimization and expansion of functionality of a system were repeatedly carried out. Thanks to the current project we expect to receive more powerful information system due to consolidation of the current and new business processes within the single platform and additional opportunities which are contained in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. It will allow to improve, on our expectations, effective management of finance, to increase transparency of cash flows and also to make more convenient and clear processes of interaction between structural divisions", – Andrey Lykov, the Chief information officer of Central Telegraph company noted.

Project Results
On April 16, 2014 the GMCS company announced project completion of transfer of management of processes of financial and economic management in JSC Central Telegraph on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Within the project specialists of GMCS optimized and moved to the new platform processes of management of finance and treasury, including the completions made by the customer during operation. Besides, on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform the electronic document management system is implemented that improved convenience, increased transparency and reduced terms of approval of documents in the company.

Employee performance increased, enhanced capabilities in the field of technical support of the solution appeared.
