The LANIT company benefited in an open competition on delivery and the implementing solution Teamcenter from Siemens PLM Software for development and design of products of Federal State Unitary Enterprise NPO Lavochkin, the press service of integrator reported on August 28, 2013.

Within works on the contract LANIT will implement at the enterprise solutions from Siemens PLM Software. In particular, the integrated solution for design-technology preparation of production NX providing faster and effective creation of high-quality products and automated, most widespread in the world, PLM- a system will be set Teamcenter.

In total it is necessary to unroll more than 50 jobs of NX and more than 100 jobs of Teamcenter. As a result of NPO Lavochkin will be able to carry out construction work, technology preparation and production of devices completely in a digital format that will promote increase in production efficiency of the new and upgraded products at cost reduction.

Choice basis

A choice of means based on the products Siemens PLM Software is made by Federal State Unitary Enterprise NPO Lavochkin after the careful analysis of the solutions presented at the market. Selection process continued about one and a half years.

Alexey Polyakov, the chief of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NPO Lavochkin center, noted: "The decision on implementation of Siemens PLM accepted by scientific and technical council of "NPO Lavochkin" substantially was caused by success in use of this system during development and production of the American Curiosity mars rover, the Russian combat helicopter MI-28 NE and the perspective PD-14 aircraft engine".
