Bashneft begins a PCS implementation project behind the Polar circle

NVision Group started system implementation of management of technology processes (PCS) on oil fields of R. Trebs and A. Titov, for the benefit of Bashneft company, the press service of the company reported on September 3, 2013.

Project Background

The solution developed by NVision Group is intended for control of the equipment and technology processes of all major installations. A system allows to conduct monitoring of processes of production, preparation and transportation of oil on fields and also provides information exchange with the systems of oil delivery and acceptance point in Varandey port. Transfers collected data of the PCS to local and central dispatcher stations and gives the chance to the duty specialist remotely to manage all processes. At the heart of the technological solution products of the companies Emerson OSIsoft Nefteavtomatika , etc.

"In the region of the Far North, in the conditions of a geographically-distributed structure of objects of oil production and extreme weather conditions, it is impossible to speak about effective management of production processes and life support on fields without application of modern means of IT, – Igor Kalyuzhny, the vice president for information technologies of JSC ANC Bashneft noted. – The solution proposed by NVision Group not only allows to control technical condition of objects, but also to trace production parameters in real time, to transfer data in a type, convenient for the analysis".

The PCS is closely integrated with other specialized systems and allows to manage processes of production, preparation and transportation of oil. The solution architecture gives the chance to organically develop a system in process of mastering of fields within the next 5–10 years", – Boris Haras, the director of a division of work with the oil companies "Nvision Group" emphasized.

Project Progress

In August, 2013 the first complex of the solution covering the central rallying point on the field to them R. Trebs and Varandey oil delivery and acceptance point is started. Specialists of NVision Group developed documentation for creation of the PCS of the second stage of development of fields and work on project solutions of a closing stage. It is supposed that implementation of an integrated automated control system technology processes on fields will come to the end in 2017.
