Eldorado upgrades an enterprise management system

The SAP Consulting company completed the project of updating of a system SAP landscape of ERP in Eldorado company, the press service of integrator reported on September 4, 2013.

Project Background

The ECC 5.0 SAP ERP system used earlier in the company complicated continuations of implementation of innovations and increase in business performance of Eldorado company. Directly such perspective projects of the company as pricing, management of promotion actions, Uniform Service, implementation of functionality of SAP eWM depended on transition to the new version (expanded management of a warehouse based on the SAP SCM system).

Feature of this project - the requirement to idle time of a system (business downtime) no more than 24 hours without loss and with preserving of consistency of data, with the minimum influence on the existing business processes in general.

"It is not the first upgrade of systems in our company. It should be noted that the terms of unavailability of a system and quality of support during stabilization provided with the combined project team of staff of Eldorado and SAP CIS deserved an appreciation from business and will serve as an example of thorough training and successful carrying out similar projects in the future", - Kirill Dubchak, the director of information technology, Eldorado noted.

Project Results

In a project deliverable the platform for further improvement of functionality of a complex of the systems integrated with SAP ERP and availability of additional functionality and standard integration tools with systems is provided SAP CRM SAP eWM SAP BI.
