Business Logic implemented the ECM solution in expert network Expinet

The Business Logic (IT Group) company completed the first project on implementing solution "Logic of ECM. The business platform" in expert network EXPINET. The solution is constructed on Alfresco Open Source platform.

EXPINET is the information and communication environment intended for the organization of work of expert community for accumulation and generation of knowledge. The task of management of hundreds of experts and their collective knowledge is rather difficult. It is necessary to motivate experts on generation of knowledge and their transfer on assessment to all expert community. It is necessary to adjust procedures of selection of really important documents and examinations not to litter the knowledge base with low-quality material. It is necessary to create classifications of competences of experts and to organize processes of creation of knowledge so that the corresponding requests got only to those specialists who it is most expert in this subject.

The problem was solved along with two parties. The experts integrating in network developed regulations of combined actions, and developers of Business platform implemented the requirements delivered by the project manager meanwhile. In particular, that any process of generation of knowledge (whether it be reviews, examinations or works of other type) is followed by the subsequent collective job evaluation, and results of this assessment are calculated on the special algorithm considering including, features of character of each appraiser.

Thus, in requirements both questions of management of the statuses of documents, and work with business processes, and filling of the knowledge base were combined.

"For approbation of our idea of expert network we decided to make a prototype of a software platform based on the ready-made solution where we could implement the scientific approaches and mathematical models developed by our group of experts. Platforms of social networks did not suit us for ideological reasons. And any ready-made solution known to us did not support the managed BPM process with lifecycle of the document.
