The first private Russian airline "Transaero", the second in value national airline on international circuits, completed creation of the ERP system on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics AX through CORUS Consulting company.

According to Elena Smirnova, the director of information technologies of Transaero, the company the information system using which it would be possible to solve a wide range of the tasks relating to accounting, tax, personnel, management accounting and payroll was necessary. Besides, a new system needed to be integrated with already existing, highly specialized elements of information infrastructure of the company.

The implementation project was broken into two stages. During the first stage which lasted from August, 2007 to August, 2008 automation and setting of accounting, tax and personnel records, management accounting of expenses, income and the reporting, payroll was carried out. At the second stage, come to the end in May, 2009, integration with a system bank client was carried out and the operational budget of cash flow is created.

During the project integration with a system of accounting of flights of Asia Next was carried out; the additional functionality on accounting of charter flights, sales accounting of tickets by agents is developed. Possibilities of payroll are expanded (using about 200 types of charges and deduction, owing to specifics of business).

On a response of the customer, thanks to implementation of ERP reliability of storage and accuracy of the data increased, reusable input of the same information is excluded and time necessary for obtaining the management reporting was significantly reduced. In addition, in the company note the general increase in efficiency and coordination of work of divisions - for example, settlings with partners are organized as end-to-end business process now.

Despite significant growth of the company during project implementation, on all sections of system implementation there was no personnel increase. Now in a system more than 100 users - the staff of financial department, accounting and department of personnel work. It is supposed that in the nearest future development of a system will be continued.
